Styling a White Blouse

White blouses are a wardrobe staple for many. For my body shape I find the perfect white blouse hard to find. I have a larger chest and arms with a smaller waist. In order to make a blouse fit perfectly I would need to get them altered and honestly I am too lazy for that.

Recently while shopping in Vancouver I tried on an oversized white blouse from Dorothee Schumacher. This blouse had a huge white flower on it. On the hanger the flower drew me in but I was skeptical on how the blouse would look on me. Once on, styled with simple loose fitting black pants I love the look. Crisp, clean and elegant it would be perfect from work to dinner. The flower on the blouse is also a pin which can be removed increasing the versatility of the blouse.

While I loved the look with the black pants I wanted to style the blouse more casually while on vacation in London. I opted for cropped jeans which I think was the perfect pairing. These floral embodied pair are from CharlieB Collection.

To keep the look light and Spring appropriate I paired the looks with Manolo Blahnik raffia sling back and Miu Min crochet bag. Cat eye white sunglasses completed the look. These accessories are made for the summer season and go perfectly together.

Hope this inspires you to try a fun white blouse for Spring/Summer! I love this style so much I am tempted to get it in another colour.
